    I'm sure they must talk to you as well as pose for you. I tend to put human characteristics and speech to your bird photographs (sorry) ... and I can imagine the reed bunting saying "Well come on, fill it up again." Great shots as ever, a joy to view.

      Thanks Blithe. Birds are very capable of portraying facial expressions and body poses which just cry out for a caption.

            Pops, your bird shots are as always, fantastic! How about starting an ornithological book on English backyard visitors...or a calender! My favourite just has to be the robin! You seem to capture them with such a superb quality! Mind you it is my favourite English bird of course!
