Snow arrived here in the East Midlands too - there's still a little hanging around where the sun didn't reach, and there are still intermittent light showers but nothing special.
I took the first one hanging out of a bedroom window because I liked the pattern of the snowy ash tree branches against the green (and I'd only gone downstairs to get my morning oj to take back to bed!)
This was taken later when the sun was stronger - I wanted to get the contrast between the bright white and the orange flowers of the berberis,, although I think might need to up the saturation a bit.
I did try and get next door's flowering cherry, but when I got in the sun had gone and both the shots I'd taken of that were a bit fuzzy.... at least with digital you haven't wasted all that film
