      Considering some UK weather 'fowl' recently, some may say weather for ducks even.....so probably apt! Maybe more of a catchlight in the eye would have helped!

        I think the first two shots are of a Mute Swan (not sure which sex) and the duck looks like a female Mallard.

        I rather like that shot of the duck too.

            Mute Swan is one of the only animals whose name is a contradiction!

            Swan...is derived from 'sound' (because of the noise is makes during flight)
            Mute, obviously means 'lack of sound'

                Never say 'fire' an arrow - the correct word is 'shoot' (derived from the sound the arrow makes when released). Firing is all to do with guns

                  I took these while sat in my car at lunchtime.........i was surrounded byr duck and swans the dusk was with a partner and they were very friendly............
                  I wasnt sure what type of swan it was but he did put his head in the car at one point
