A walk in the park

Went down to the park at lunchtime - I've been trying to get this dratted moorhen for weeks, but today he was happy to pose for me:


Went along to the next pond, just as I was leaving a lady came down to feed the birdsd - unfortunately I was some way away by then so only had time for 1 shot

It looks really cold where you are! Its a pity you had moved away when the lady came with bread! Now you know to take some bread with you next time to attract the waterfowl! Those geese would've made lovely close up pics! Are they Canadian Geese? Love the squirrel!

I'll have you know it was quite mild yesterday - had even left the scarf at home!

Yes, they are Canadian geese - here's one I took earlier (I go down to that park quite often for a walk during my lunchtime )

I like all the activity in the 2nd shot, a shame it's a bit on the dark side.
Your 3rd shot reminded me that I haven't seen my resident squirrel for a couple of days....wonder if that's it
