I was going through some other shots the other day and came across these. They are Arctic Tern resting on a floating log. It was just the rather comical look to the scene that caught my eye and I managed to get a few shots as the boat passed near.

I like em....but then I would wouldn't I.
I certainly prefer the 2nd even though they are obviously ignoring you. They look sort of regimental like that and the floating leaves being dragged behind the log make for a nice composition.

yep my favourite is the second one, they seem quite happy and contented there
