Great pictures, are they untouched? That third one is superb.

I have similar pics like that, some amazing ones taken whilst flying around the edge of a storm cloud in a small aircraft.

You can not beat the feeling of flying like that and your pictures are a nice reminder of this.

    Thanks for posting them.

I can't say they are untouched as they have had the usual saturation tweak, sharpening slightly...etc etc in Paintshop 9! It was absolutely amazing to be on top of the clouds at 3500ft.....& in the open so to speak.....not sitting in a cabin of an aeroplane!! Thanx for your comments, lately not many people make any comments, good or bad! I wonder sometimes if its worthwhile posting anymore!

        Hi Jocelyn

Been out of action for a few weeks but that first pic is a cracker.

Must put balloon ride on the things to do list hehehe.

        Cheers

          Re: Sky's the Limit

Thanx for your comment Dave! Balloon ride at crack of dawn! Don't be like me a forget to take the polarizing filter! Thing is, the whole experience is just amazing, peaceful & serene...except when the burners go back on to give a little updraft! You need to set aside time for viewing & time for photography otherwise you lose half the thrill of the ride! Make sure you get everything you need sorted the previous evening! I think someone needs to invent a bandalero's belt that will hold filters, lenses etc....etc around ones torso, for easy access! The champagne buffet breakfast after the flight, at a rather swanky wine estate was superb too!

            Hi Jocelyn,
The second shot is just wonderful. Being above the clouds like that must have been asweome. I can just make out the field borders through that cloud.

For goodness sake don't stop posting...I'm back now

Your time & comments are much appreciated Pops & its grand to have you back on line again! By the way I saw an Albino Magpie today, with red eyes. Poor thing stood out like a sore thumb! Even it's beak didn't have the usual markings! Usually when creatures are different from the crew, they get picked on & pecked but this one seemed to be accepted fairly ok!
