White Alsatian Photo Shoot

A freind of mine has a white alsatian, gorgeous looking thing it is!

Had a mini photo shoot today with him

....and finally for a bit of fun! Oscar his other pet came out to see what all the fus was about



Although posted here, I welcome any critique and pointers, the plan was to go to a more suitable location to take these, but sadly time was against us, s it was the back garden, which obviously present issues with backgrounds.

Some nice sensitive pictures you have there Ben. Think you maybe right about the first one being Portrait. I'm a great user of vignetting but wonder if a couple are a bit overdone. Just my initial thoughts.

I think you may be referring to the second one in particular about the vignetting?

The sun was low, and the background was harshly lit, so it was my attempt to draw the eye away from it.
I think I may have another bash, and try and tone it down differently, maybe a mono conversion or something, any ideas?

OMG! I can't possibly sit here and consider the composition or anything else technical or artistic about any of those pics ... because I'm in spasms of sheer delight just wanting to pat, cuddle and play with those fabulous dogs!

The Alsation is an amazing colour! Gorgeous fluffy coat too.

I don't give a toss about the wall in the background because that pose, fourth picci, is just so 'ain't I a nice doggie' ..... and the last one has completely melted my heart.

I wouldn't wanna give anyone the impression I'm a wholehearted and completely soppy dog worshipper of course.

I think I prefer the 3rd one, nicely blown out background, reflection on the eye followed by a nice streak of spit from the tongue Excellent shot.

I am sorry but everytime I look at these, I change my mind about which is my favourite, first its 2nd then 3rd, and then that last one,
ohhhh what a couple of sweeties, I could give them sooo many hugs
