This was taken last week whilst trying out some more night shots in the city, using Panasonic FZ30 & monopod! I'm aware of the blur due to shakes & guess the spot is worthwhile revisiting until closer to perfection, if that ever happens! Federation Square & Prince's Bridge over Yarra, with city architecture around Southbank for those that are interested!
If out of 36 shots you only got 2 decent 'ish' shots and thats being kind hopefully you have learned where you were going wrong.
The use of a tripod for shots in lowlight and night scenes is paramount if you want good crisp shots.
Ive looked at the exif data and theres no way you were ever going to get a crisp shot on a 5 second exposure, however good your anti shake system is
Im also guessing that you had the camera on automatic! If you dont no how to use the camera in manual, then have a quick look in ya instructions because there will be a specific mode for taking these types of shots I had an fz20 for a short while and Im sure there is a nightscene mode.
hope this helps
