Haleakala Crater Sunrise, Maui, Hawaii

[Autumn]

After a 3.30am start and a 2 hour journey we were eventually elevated to 10,000 feet to see the sunrise. It was ABSOLUTELY FREEZING. I could hardly fasten my camera on to the tripod. My pictures aren't outstanding, but it was an unforgettable experience and many people were there. I really don't know what sort of pictures I expected to get, shooting towards the sun!

BTW The grey mass is cloud. Just as I was snapping this car came round the corner - a little bit late, as the sun was by now rising rapidly.

You certainly got a super picture in this one, I also like the inclusion of the car, bit of luck that in my opinion
