I'm always amazed by your birds pix with sharp focused eye in a shallower DOF. I was always thinking whether AF works properly especially when there are many twigs around birds. Or taken by Manual Focus? You need anyway to be able to anticipate birds behaviours, I imagine. Must be observing birds for quite a long time.
Among the uploaded pics, I would like the second (for its nice colour coordination) and the last (looks happier in front of tasty foods - this prevails over a bit busy background for me).

Come on Pops how do you get these birdies to pose for you, it seems like a competition to see who is the most photogenic, who has the most superstar qualities, you will have them walking the cat "Whoops" stage walk soon

What type of bird is the third one? I think the colors are beautiful. To be honest the only one i recognize is the third one! It is a Robin, Am I correct?
