Recently my 6year old daughter & I went for a day long hike as a reward for good grades. We had to do quite a bit of climbing to get over a rock wall then it was a pretty steep walk back down the other side but the reward was well worth it! here are two pictures of what awaited us on the other side.
I hope you all find it to be as beautiful as I did! All my 6 year old could say was "Oh Mommy it so pretty"

It certainly is a beautiful scene Jennifer, the autumnal colours are much the same as they are in the UK at present. You have found a lovely spot, though I'm not sure if its a river or pond we are looking at. For me the the first is perhaps my favourite of the two as it cuts out much of the leaning tree which jars a little for me in the second. Also because of your position the eye is drawn in two directions more on the second. Its the water that runs to the left and right that is the problem I think in the second. The eye should be led more into the distance whilst what seems to be happening is that its drawn in opposing directions by the water.
Now I feel I have to mention one other thing. The photo looks to be sharp from foreground to distance, and yet I sense the top left and bottom right are slightly blurred. Have you applied blur or is it the lens. Its particularly noticeable in the second shot. If you have applied blur, my feeling is that you shouldn't. If its the lens, try a smaller aperture, maybe f8 for such shots, just to see if that helps, if it doesn't, maybe you have a problem with the lens.
This place looks absolutely beautiful.
Have to go for the 1st for my preference for the same reason Stephen mentioned....the leaning tree hogs the frame
Hi,
A lovely and Autumnal image/Images, yes well worth the hike. I prefer the first also, this is a place you should visit again on several occasions and seasons.
