          It sure is a English trait," I bought it, I will enjoy it" despite the temperature, mind you it has been unseasonably warm of late. love the car.

            Well, more open tops are sold in the uk than any other european country....which is frankly astounding!

              I learnt to drive in a Triumph Spitfire in the early 70's. Magnificent cars! It was a bit darker, British Racing Green, which we spit 'n polished & compounded to a mirror sheen every weekend! Often having its weber carbs tuned, to hummmm & purr, the Walnut woodwork gleaming, leather bucket seats & the soft top taken right off, [it only had a front windshield/windscreen] pushing in excess of a ton [as we called it in speed/mph], down the highways! Exhilarating stuff! Aaahh, those were the days!
