  • I had half an hour to kill...

    ....so I took a junked shot to see what I could get out of it.

    This was taken recently at a local reservoir on what turned out to be a disappointingly misty morning. I didn't have time to wait for the mist to go, so I took a couple of shots and drove on.

    Here's the untouched RAW original....



    And after a fair bit of processing in CS2, including a rotate to get the trees more upright and a crop to equalise the space above the trees top & bottom........



    Not perfect I know but more akin to what I'd hoped to shoot and I was surprised to see just how much could be coaxed out of the gloom of the original.

    Wow - what a transformation

    The sky is slightly odd, but the clarity and tone of the rest of the picture is 100% better!

          Hi,
          Great edit, A vast improvement on the original, it may be posible to drop a new sky in while your killing time.
