  • Richmond Park

Went to Richmond Park today, took a few snaps, here are the results. The sunlight was pretty lousy, so some of the shots didnt come out too well.

    Hope you like them!

For some reason, i cant get the UBB code for the last one.

    (Any ideas Ian or Stephen?)

(Just remove 'thumbs/' from the url -Ian )

Nope since the gallery software was updated I'm accessing my shots from the My Pics link

Like the third one best BTW, but it just isn't sharp enough is it. I had a similar problem the other day, just couldn't get enough shutter speed.

        Thanks gents.

        Your not wrong Stephen.

It really was frustrating today. I was happily stalking the deer into the woods, but there just wasnt enough light.

I reverted to using the 50mm f1.8 at one point, that was mainly to get my shot for the Autumn Assignment.

These were all shot at 400 ISO, and I didnt really think it was worth going any higher. I used a monopod, but I think next time I will take one of my wonky tripods

Oh-yes - it was a bummer of a day today

You've done well, though Ben - certainly not a wasted day.

              Re: Richmond Park

I have to admit that I was jumping with joy when I saw how the panning shots came out, i have a couple of others.....but as with a lot of shots, when you see them on the big screen, they never look quite as good as you hope.

Thanks for those details Pol. May have to wait a while though, as a change of plan for my chimbo pressie from the missus. I am now getting some money towards a new pair of glasses (as I am so blind, they cost about 250quid without the frames). Its all been a wee bit expensive this month, but not to worry. I think I will take another look in the January sales

That little Elise of mine doesnt do very many miles to the gallon! lol

Super images Coupekid, certainly worth setting out for, love the second and third ones, the third just pipping the second IMO.
