    Aren't I a pretty one

I was told that the wound on this one was caused by it getting tangled up in wire

I especially like the first one. The pose and the reflection work well together to make it amusing as well as rather touching.

Where was it? Was it actually out in the wild?

          Re: Seals

They are both very good images Pops. We see a lot seal pics in our photographic society. People go here:

I have never been; it is about 60 miles from where I live. I wondered if it was where you went to get your pics.

The photographs of the seals shown on this site are NOTHING compared to the photographs our members have taken. They would not look amiss in National Geographical!

One day we will go. Apparently you need plenty of layers of clothes and suitable footware.

            The seal sanctuary at Mablethorpe.
They take in injured seals etc. that are found on the coast, heal them and return them to their own environment.
Note the wound on the 2nd shot. That seal had been with them around 3 weeks and would be kept for another month or so.
It isn't just seals they take in. They had quite a mixture including a porcupine and a badger

The place I to which I gave the link, is between Mablethorpe and Cleethorpes. I have persuaded my husband to go on Saturday. If it rains, we wont go.

I just didn't have enough time to get there.
You will find seals in their natural environment. It is from here that the injured ones get taken to the sanctuary that I visited.
                Hope your plans work out.

It all sounds very good, in conjunction with the location Audrey's talking about!

You chose a good location for yer break.

The actual location is approx midway between skeggy and mablethorpe. It's a very quiet little spot away from all the hustle and bustle.
