Deerstalking

Whilst out looking for the last salon comp we passed this field yesterday, unfortunately i wasnt quick enough. So today I "happened" to be passing the very same field with camera turned, and i saw just a head in the grass.
Things learned while taking this photo....1, Get a bigger, faster lens 2, Never try stalking a deer in a muddy field whilst wearing a white shirt and tie with suit trousers. ..........you can see the look on the deers face " does he think I'm blind"

Hi Mike - that must have been a magical moment

I used to ride regularly and we were on a hack over some farm land one Boxing Day (if I recall) and we saw a whole herd of deer not that far away; one of those experiences that gets filed away in 'favourites'
