    Birds arn't my usual thing as I have only a 150mm kit lens but this little guy is so brave I got so close.



    This second was taken while standing on a trampoline much to everyones amusement

    They are quite friendly and will come up close if don't make any sudden movements.
    I like both these, they are both natural looking shots.

      He always comes out when we feed the horses, yesterday he sat on a post 6ft ftom me but I didnt have my camera with me . I am especially please with the one in the tree as I was tring to stand very still on a trampoline about 10ft below him

        I especially like that second shot too. It's very natural seeing him sitting there in the tree.

          I really liked your 2nd shot Mike, standing on the trampoline was well worth the effort! You have managed to capture the shot well & with good clarity! How did you manage not to shake....hold your breath, whilst pressing the button?

            I think if you bounced up and down on the trampoline whilst taking shots you would have got some interesting ones! lol

            Lovely pic, don't seen to get many birds on this concrete jungle I live on. Apart from bloody crows that drive me mad in the morning!
