It's cuz your cat is kind. Your moggie also knows yer an ace togfa so he/she brings you models and poses with them for yours and our delight.

I suppose I shouldn't say this but ........ aaaaaaah. It's rather sweet in a sick sort of way.

    Cracking shot! Purrrrfect.

      Great photo

      Did you rescue the mouse?

In my experience, we have two cats, they use them (frogs, rodents and birds) as play things to hone their skills in an enclosed space. We came home one day to find bird poo all over the kitchen and dining room and the bird was still alive. One frog was brought in several times until we found him/her dried up under the bookshelf.

With that thought I am going to have breakfast now.

I rather think that your rat is a mouse, altogether preferable to find on your doormat, and most domestic cats will try to avoid rats!

My cash is on young Rat, the feet are too big and tail is too fat for a mouse.

What a gentle cat you have.
Pardon the pun but that's a wonderful capture

              Re: Cat n Rat

I can hear the rodent (far too small to be a rat unless it's a juvenile) saying - "here we go a again..."

This isn't the mouse that wants to be a famous chef is it?

              Ori is its name Jerry?

Do you sometimes come home to find your cat in a state of shock with a big lump sticking out of its head with cute stars orbiting it?

Does your cat like to listen to the Boom Town Rats?

And back to all seriousness - what was the outcome of this particular scenario; did the mouse get away?
