  • Spider (called Fred)

Went out to the shed this afernoon to collect something and, as per usual, I had a glance over to where Fred lives. Well Fre had got himself a moth for lunch. Ran back indoors and did a quick lens change to the 60mm macro and quickly snapped off the first shot.

    .

I decided that Fred was in no hurry wrapping up his prize so i took time to add the ext tube (ef25 11) and moved in a bit closer

He is quite used to me I think so I went in even closer and I swear he glanced up at me

They are amazing pictures!! As I scrolled down my mouth got wider!! Superb shots

I have a patio garden here surrounded by greenery and this is the home to several large spiders who each have some amazing looking webs. If you look at them really closely they are amazing!

      Superb pictures again

They really are fascinating to watch and their web building skills are incredible. When things are quiet I can always rely on Fred to pose for me

I have always thought that the name 'Boris' conjurs up a mind image of something ugly ...
