  • joining the airshow band wagon

    Dear All,

Three from Shoreham. I used a 5d with a sigma 70-200mm lens. Since my lens is not the most suitable for close ups of the planes in flight I tried to look for something else to capture the moment e.g. scale or action.

    Best Regards

    Josh

Love the first shot Josh! Simple but somehow elegant.

If you were there Sunday did you see the Monarch Airbus that flew quite low to the north of the airport? I tried to get it in a shot of the wingwalkers as they had taken off and were heading to the north east, for some reason I have not got the image at all, I can remember taking it, a few at the same time as they approached each other and must have deleted the main one I was looking for!

        Nice pictures by the way.

Wonder if the regular flight pilot realised he was taking part in the show.
You captured the elegance of the manouvre in the first shot

            Thanks all.

No, I was there Saturday so no monarch for me.
