She certainly is a gracious ship, but tiddly compared to her big sister QM2. It's a shame that she is retiring from Cunard's fleet in November 2008 and will then be berthed in Dubai as "floating" luxury hotel

Gosh...the QE2 has drawn amazing crowds all over the world for quite a while & still does as illustrated by your great pic Stephen! When it was in Durban, quite a number of years ago, one was able to board & view the sumptuous elegance etc, which I did & it was absolutely amazing....incredible....fantasmagorical!
