    I just love these old ruins, I passed these today and thought about capturing them but there was a lot of low cloud and drizzle in the air 2 hours later I managed to go past again and the clouds had broke.

    Aargh! (best pirate accent I can muster ) Ye good ol' Cornish tin mines...

    I know this isn't the critique board, but these look on the dark side to me?

      The first three attempts to capture the scene were awful, the dun was at the one o'clock position behind the cloud on the top right this caused terrible blowing of the highlights. I eventually metered off the sky to avoid blowing the highlights, but this only created a silouette of the ruins which is why thwy are slightly darker than you would expect.
