Not the normal plethora of plastic at this country village market

Corr What a lovely selection of pictures. If I had been there I would have been too busy rummaging for bargains.

I could have spent a full day there. Every stall an Aladins cave

Very interesting photographs. Well thought out angles used for shoooting each pic.

Good and clear and well exposed.

Yes, each one is excellent in its own right. I love them.

Any more? They are really interesting. I like the way the old man is framed by the saw? I am talking about the one with the rope across the top.

Congratulations Sue on some very different pictures.

Not too sure about the framing, but don't know why I am not sure either!

        Where was this market?

          Thanks for your encouraging comments.

The pics were taken on my day out to the New Forest and this particular village is called Lymington. I used the jump on jump off bus which does a circuit every hour and as I missed the one that came round the next hour I had quite a bit of time to kill at this market when actually I would have preferred being in the actual forest. But I did get into some nature areas later in the day so all was not lost.

I spent a lot of time in post processing of these becuase the exposure was difficult that day being sort glary and hazy light overcast mid summer type of light - so I had to try all sorts of things to reduce the highlights and get a more even histogram without making it look too flat - bit of a balancing act but I am learning all the time and actually I do really enjoy the editing process in itself. If you spend your working hours at a computer doing someone else's bidding all day its great to get home and do something that is entirely of your own creation even though it means more time in front of a screen.

I haven't got any more decent one's of this market but I will dig out some of the actual open topped bus and a few that I took in Exbury Gardens which was my next stop off point.
