and about time to!

Ok, this will really upset the mums out there, we turned up at the hospital at 4:30am this morning, and at 4:57am, this little gem arrived!



5Lb 11oz a little early as it was due on the 5th of August.

Mother was drinking tea and eating toast 10minutes later, and the baby is perfect, so all in all a great morning!

Her name is Elise.....and yes that is after the Lotus.

I will post a couple of 'proper' pictures this weekend, this, as you can tell, is a snap and run as I have been instructed to go home get some stuff, tidy the house etc.......then go back! but couldnt wait to tell you guys and gals here on DPNow!

I did wonder if 3/4th August (knowing the due date was 5th) meant the Oxford meet would be problematical for you. But now you will no doubt be expected to be pulling your weight at home, too!

BTW Elise apart from being a type of Lotus and a lovely name is also the French version of Elisa and means "God Is My Oath".

Both of you - Congratulations, you must be very pleased with her and of course proud parents. We have a Granddaughter called Elise who is our pride and joy, who is about to commence at Grammar School in September. Unfortunately they grow up far too quickly. Once again - WELL DONE !
