  • Ships Galley

    Hi all,
This image is a panorama produced from three images from several taken hand held while aboard the visiting sailing barque Earl of Penbroke. It may not be a superb image but it is the result of my praticing the pano procedure so although not in critique, comments and tips are very welcome as usual.
    Many thanks.

I can't see any problems with this one Tinka, seems like a pretty perfect Pano, well done

Who needs a wide-angle lens when you can produce shots like this. Well done.

I'm pretty sure you used flash for this, but the lighting isn't harsh and you've managed the conflicting WB issues nicely too. The composition isn't daring or particularly dynamic, but the viewer nevertheless gets a fair old sense of the size of the galley and what's in it, so you've more than likely achieved your goal there too.

Considering this is made up from a selection of hand-held shots, it's lined up nicely and would pass for a decent, single WA image. Nice work

Great job joining up the pics. No joins that I can see.

Thank you all for your encouraging comments, it looks like I am getting there slowly. After the initial surge of enthusiasm for Adobe photoshoping days, It looks like going back to basics is paying off and working.
            Many thanks.
