  • 3.2.1.

I snapped this outside our hotel during a trip to London last year. After getting home I saw this image and thought, "I can do something with this". I titled it "3.2.1." because the lampposts have the numbers on them and because of the three subjects each with their own character and purpose.

    Thanks for looking!

    Hi Philip,

What a picture! I love it!

This would have been a good picture, but the inclusion of the chap in the foreground looking at the girl is makes this a great picture.

The textures of the buildings are really nice, have you given this image any treatment?

      Hi coupekid,

Thanks for the kind words. Yes the orginal is much lighter and has more color and is crooked.

I darkened it up significantly, especially in the corners to draw the eye toward the center. I drained most of the color and cropped it slightly on the right. Some filtering made the buildings textures a little "flatter".

      Thanks!
      Philip

I'd agree with Ben, a great image. Super toning too. Don't you just love it when all the elements come together and you know you have a keeper.

That's one of the best images I've seen on here for a while Philip, well worth your efforts IMHO!
