Taken today at Whipsnade animal park....... it rained quite a bit, but managed to get some reasonable shots...heres a few, and I hope you like them. Although not posted in critique, feel free to offer any comments you wish

Looks like you had a fun day as I did. I was out fishing in all that weather. Nice pictures and I see THE LYON SLEEPS TONIGHT cue the music. I wounder if it ever wakes up. It was asleep when I last when there.

Yep! I can relate to that! You might appreciate this shot then Ron. My mate is a mad keen fisherman, and every year, he sets up his kit (which takes hours!) sets up the barby, has a few tins etc ready for the season to start.

There were a few of us down there braving the weather, I left before the season started at midnight, but he and a couple of other mates were there until 10am.

The weather was relatively kind to us that night, but it didnt half come down today!

That looks lovely, my kind of place. I used to take the camper-van out for night fishing with a large group of friends. It was like a burger van come tea shop. Yesterday I landed ten large carp and a few tiddlers. On days like that you don't care if it rains.

looked well worth it.
pleased I am not the only one that goes places when it seems to poor down.
only consolation no-one else seems to bother and you get better views of everything.



can I ask do you have like a bag to go over the camera to protect it in the rain?

Hi FP,
No, no bag, I risked a few spots on it, but during the downpour, and anything more than very light drizzle, I waited in the car.
