  • Pix from the village open day

Our local village, Apsley - on the outskirst of Hemel Hempstead, has an open day every June and fortunately the weather was obliging. Here are a few shots taken earlier today.

My younger daughter, Lara, with her schoolmate, Courtney and her youngest brother, Connor.

One of the big attractions was a Punch and Judy show! (Which was not very PC - lots of references to smacking bottoms! )

    The inevitable sausages!

    They're friends really

PS These are all from an Oly E-510, 50-200 ZD f/2.8-3.5 100-400 equiv), using in-body image stabilisation. JPEGs as well as there is no RAW support in Photoshop yet. Very minimal processing was done too. You can examine the exif data in my gallery.

Looks like great fun was had by all the tiddlers. A lovely set of shots, particularly like the children and, of course, the close up of the punch and judy.
