A few from the weekend.

Went to Tadley Treacle fair at the weekend, good to see the weather held out. There was lots to see


Some Morrismen......and women......I have no idea what this is all about, men dressing up with bells on their legs and blacking their faces, but it seemed fun!





Fun with sponges!
We paid an extra 50p so as I could stick my brother in law in the firing line.....then of course my nephew wanted a go too!

These kids were so young! I love the expression on his face.

There seems to be a lot of this type of thing around atm.

They seem to attract a lot of photographers.

You look to have had a really good time.

Not been about here as much as I'd like but Ian pointed out this post (since he mentioned me in dispatches as it were).

Some Morrismen......and women......I have no idea what this is all about, men dressing up with bells on their legs and blacking their faces, but it seemed fun!

It is fun and most dancers have no idea what is all about either so you're in good company there.

I can tell you that they're dancing Border Morris, which is the same style as me, and if they are anything like most Morris dancers a lot of it is about working up a good thirst .

Love the last picture, got the timing just right.
