Not sure if this counts as a 'funny sign', but it was to me at the time..... Not many people can say they have a village named after them!
I was driving from North to South Devon and, whilst passing through a village, asked my partner what the name of the village was - got a totally different answer to this, so thought I'd been seeing things as I'd entered the village. However, on leaving the village, looked back, pulled over at the side of the road and took this with my old camera (so sorry about the quality, my fuji never was up to much). Know it's a bit wonky, but wasn't parked in a particularly safe place!
