Oh yes - yet another one from the Nevada desert 
I believe this is a typical north American chipmunk. This was snapped from a car park at a vista point in the Nevada desert outside of Las Vegas. It was bravely getting closer and closer to us, or to be more accurate, the trash bin where some orange peel was on the ground. Despite a dozen people snapping and staring at it, the closest it got was maybe 4-5 feet and it successfully retrieved its target orange peel.
This is quite a tight crop and at 100% it's a little soft, but I think it works well here on the web?
