Re: It's snowing!
Still snowing here too...
This one I took just after 9 this morning, leaning out of the window
Then I tried to go to work - this was taken with my new phone camera - the Sony Ericsson K800i
The first 3 miles of my journey is on a single track road, eventually going through a farm yard before arriving at Canons Ashby, the local National Trust house (sorry, that pic didn't come out).
6 miles out, the 'main' road only had one lane open and I couldn't get out of 2nd gear so called it a day and came home - it was still another 5 miles to the A43 up hill, down and round quite a few bends, so not worth the trouble!
This is back on the single track road, looking toward the village (about a mile out)
And when I did get home, I had to visit the sheep across the road - only a foolhardy few grazing, the rest sheltering by the hedge

Spoken to my boss (he's just bought a Mazda 6 4x4, so knew he'd want to go out to play!) and been given the day off.....

Re: It's snowing!
I'm normally pretty good at this sort of thing, but I give up. What sort of car is it?Originally posted by Ian View Post
My initial guesses were the previous generation Nissan 300ZX and then some kind of Audi coupe, but the snow on the bonnet keeps confusing me

Of course.........Stephen guessed as much when we were chatting on MSN earlier. 'Tis a great car, with a superb engine..........no wonder you're proudOriginally posted by Ian View PostWrong and wrong

Ian
A few years ago I had a 1992 Honda Civic CRX VTEC (the diminutive little coupe, not the one with the folding metal roof...) and it too was bright red with black leather seats. A screaming (9000 RPM) 1.6 engine and 158 BHP in a car weighing less than a ton..............brilliant. Never broke down or hiccuped once either...
Honda make some terrific cars now too. My ex has a new-shape Accord Exec with a 2.2 CDTi engine, and it really is a nice car. Like Big Bob, I have the latest-shape Mondeo (an estate), but in time I'd like to get something a little more charismatic

They are super cars, I love those Preludes.
My father had the Civic Aerodeck on a 'V' plate, and he loved it, it had the 1.8vtec engine. A real beauty of a car, and it loved to be revved!
I have got the little 1.4 Honda Civic alas........its.........economical...
(Still want an Elise though!)

It's true!Originally posted by bigbob View PostPhotographers seem to favour the Mondeo..
Well I have to confess that it was my first properly sensible car, and I got some serious ribbing from friends and family about it. Now I've had it for about eight months, I absolutely love it. It's great to drive, extremely comfortable and pretty economical too. Plus, I can park it anywhere and despite it being a new-ish car, it doesn't attract the wrong sort of attention. Being an estate, it can also carry half the studio whenever I need it too. EDIT: Mine doesn't have the decals and contact details like the one in your picture, though...
Maybe we should start a "my car" thread
