A380 production to end

Hoping against hope, production of my favourite airliner will cease. The A380 is big, beautiful (in my eyes) and super comfortable - well, and just plain impressive.

While passengers like me loved it, the airlines - apart from Emirates - never fell in love with it, sadly.

That is an impressive looking beast. Never flown in one.

Not sure about double deckers. I like smaller jets.

I've flown upstairs on A380s a few times - and once (purely by luck) - I had a very cheap ticket but for some reason all the connections coming home from Tokyo were premium economy) with Air France - which was as good as many business class seats if you ask me. The A380 is very quiet, especially upstairs. There's nothing quite like it.

Nice !

We only fly short haul and for package hols. So the option to fly in this type of jet hasn't been an option.
