Red kite - image heavy!

I never tire of photographing the red kites above the house and nearby. This was the scene on Wednesday during a welcome period of blue sky, if windy.

This red kit was circling - often low - near the house and you will see it managed to pick up a meal and was snacking on it - on the wing













Looks like I have been spotted!

It's a bird that I never tire of seeing either, Ian.

You are lucky to have them so near to you. We seldom see them here, and when we do, its from a distance.
