Not the greatests example but we only get better results with practice...
I missed sone really big ones

I have never tried to capture lightning as I find it quite scary.

I did try with stills and failed - needed a tripod and 10 stop filter to do it that way. I videoed it - those are 3 frames at 60fps so cover the same strike over 1/20th of a second. To the naked eye it was much brighter.
