A top model and that smartphone again!

Photographing Jasmine Lambrechts, wife of Leica ambassador, Alex, Lambrechts, was a great privilege last month courtesy of Huawei and the P20 Pro smartphone.





This is mono but it's converted in Lightroom from the phone's 40 megapixel RAW file as I wasn't happy with the colour. Of course the phone famously has a 20 megapixel mono camera as well.

I am impressed ! Lovely subject and smashing phone / camera.

The contrast and detail is really good. What ? or How much processing was involved ?


Now if I were the type to spend out on new phones. I would be more than tempted.

A fair amount of fiddling with the colour channels to adjust the mono tonality. It didn't take that long though. I'd show you the settings but the desktop PC is still in bits and I did the edits on that PC. Hopefully once it's fixed I can show you what I did.
