  • Autumn colours at Westonbirt Arboretum

Yesterday I was out with some of the www.e-group.uk.net members for a meet Westonbirt Arboretum, near Malmesbury in the West Country, in search of autumn colours.

Westonbirt Arboretum, which is run by the Forestry Commission, is well known for its collection of exotic acers, which are often very colourful at this time of year.

Here's a few to get started with

Some stunningly hot reds there, Ian.

Is that a bit of vignette added to the second shot ? Or natural shade causing the framing ?

Good set of photos. But the last three definitely are the winning shots.

      Thanks for these.

I am hopeful not to miss the ones here in the South - took a few today in cloudy conditions and as yet have not had the time to put them through Elements etc.
