Your picture seems to suggest it could be an early Autumn, quite a number of plants seemed to have run away with themselves with the recent hot weather.

Remembering your post - as we were on our way for a fish and chip lunch at the station I was surprised to see a fire being used on a narrowboat. I'm not sure if is was cold on board or the gas had run out and a cuppa was being boiled?
