  • Quarrelling pigeons on the roof

    After a relatively fruitless time last night trying to photograph Mars and Jupiter with my big tele lens (Olympus ZD 300mm f/2.8 with 2x converter, making it equivalent to a FF 1200mm f/5.6) I sat in the garden after breakfast earlier, with my coffee, and pointed it (minus the converter) at some bikering pigeons on the roof:

    Nice lens. Produced some super harp images.

      It's a remarkable lens, hand made in Japan, but rather heavy!

        Similar to the Canon 300mm f2.8 But I don't think they are hand made.

        Similar in price too.
