Still rocking after all these years

Please excuse the logos, but as I only shot this concert on Wednesday I can't share without until the agency has had its go - and they only published this morning.

A work night trip over to Leamington Spa to see what, to me, was living history and the sound of my teenage years: Colin Blunstone and Rod Argent. Colin, 72, still has his falsetto although it tends more to a minor key now, and Rod was 73 on Thursday.

I'm used to getting 10-15 minutes in the photopit but as the first 3 songs were from the 60s they were a maximum of 2mins38 seconds long so that went very, very quickly. I also got the worst of the (blue) light but it did mean that I got to sit and thoroughly enjoy the rest of the concert (it was fully seated, probably due to the age of the fans)

It seems you have a pleasant pastime Caz and a paying one I hope.

Two from the past and they both have hair - lots considering age and it seems they still have the mojo that gets the toes tapping.

Thank you Barrie for your kind words. It pays... occasionally, but on the plus side I get in for free. Music photography generates a lot of views (and a lot of re-use without credit) which is why I've switched from sharing on Facebook to securing them on a SmugMug site! They can reshare the ones I post to Instagram.

These photos are so professional, Caz. You do them so well.

I remember The Zombies. Liked some of their music. But not all.

Good to see they are still rocking.
