I had to go to Southwold for a couple of days this week - had only briefly passed through the place a few years ago but this time had the chance to take a picture or two...

    The Lighthouse

    The Town & Pier

    Beach huts

Our hotel was opposite the Police station - Dixon was not on duty...

My wife occaisionally will allow a photo (rather than just walking into shot - I have hundreds of pictures of the back of her head)

Did you see the clock on the pier. I found it very intriguing.
Regards Ron. Live each day as if it was your last. One day you will be right. Down sized to Nikon s7000 compact camera.

      Re: Southwold

You know I've never been here, not really to far and should have gone years ago when my late "in laws" lived in Wivenhoe.

      Thanks for showing, nice set.

Evening all - a catchphrase which caught on - thanks Sergeant 706.

Thanks for the memories Rab, I wonder how many blue lights remain?

Southwold as told through your pictures doesn't seem to have changed much over the years.

A great series - love the one of Mrs Rab.

            Thanks All

Yes Ron we saw the clock

It did not seem to be performing on the hour but was nevertheless unusual
