  • Cold day made good

We ventured out in quite cold conditions, brave or stupid?
At least when photographing the chalk pits we were out of the winds but the cold stayed with us.
When we hit a sleet storm we headed back home.

    An interesting set, Barr1e.

Again, it looks very bright and sunny. Spring is coming.

I particularly like the dark moody clouds in the last shot.

I ventured out with the camera yesterday, but eventually it stayed in the car - hail like bullets then I lost the light doing my good deed for the day by rescuing a stranded motorist and driving them home.

Looks desolate, any good for birds/wildlife?

          Hi David -

We only had our small cameras as we were out for lunch.

The only birds seen from a distance were seagulls.
About half a mile away is College Lake where much can be seen depending on the season.
