Flamingoes in Cyprus

In Cyprus for a few days...

This morning we went to the Salt Lake in Larnaca where Flamingoes winter feeding on brine shrimp in the lake - which in summer is virtually a dry salt pan.

I like the view in the first shot.

Shame about the modern turbines in the rear. But a sign of the times.

They are everywhere now.

Enjoyed seeing these.
