  • We actively encourage photography.........

...........As log as you keep your flash, turned off.

Popped into see the Mary Rose today. The use of flash photography is not permitted.

The main area is sufficiently dark that you are not able to pick out the details of peoples faces.

First photo taken at ISO 6400.

The ship was photographed at ISO12800

I haven't visited yet so it is pleasing to get an insight of what is to see. Interesting visitors are on different levels.
I think I read recently she was suffering a little through dryness.

Am I right in thinking the ship is of medium size for the year?

The high iso worked well with little noise in them.

    Thanks for showing these Garry.

      Hi Barry.

Thanks for your comment. The Mary Rose is not a big ship. But well worth visiting.

There is a 1" thick glass screen between the ship and the public.

When visiting. You walk along a floor level that is the same as the ship. Hence different levels.

The displays are a little better illuminated, which helps with photos.
