    Heron with prize

    We followed a heron this afternoon and were pleased when it dived from the edge of the canal into it.


    The heron then flew back with its prize...


    ...and down it went.


    A little earlier on a lake a wagtail came visiting.

    I like the processing to the Grey Wagtail.
