  • Perfect alignment!

I had to wait for these two ostriches, who were moving in opposite directions as they fed, to align to get this shot. 2 heads, 4 legs!

    Taken at Marwell Zoo.

    Hi Stuart -

I enjoy zoos and often take the grandchildren to them.

    Nice capture.

        Re: Perfect alignment!

        Thanks Barr1e,.

The wife and I have "Gold cards" for Colchester Zoo which is viewed by many as one of the best in the country. We went down to Basingstoke yesterday to see my son and his wife and they suggested going to Marwell Zoo as our Colchester gold cards would get us in for free under some sort of reciprocal agreement.

My son and his wife are also keen photographers so they go to Marwell often.

I also buy Colchester Zoo gold cards for my two grandchildren as Christmas presents so they get to go with me quite regularly. They also go with mum and dad courtesy of gold cards they get for Christmas from their Nan (my MIL).

As you can see, zoos are quite well used by my family!
