  • Kingfisher - sunning herself

    Anne and I walked several miles yesterday looking for one of the kingfishers that we normally see on our travels and returned home with an empty basket.
    We travelled around by car today taking advantage of the sunny conditions looking out for the birds with larger wings (Red Kite and Buzzards) and having bagged one or two decided to end a pleasant day looking for our favourite girl.


    A tight crop
    Taken with Olympus OM D EM 1 mk2 coupled with 40-150 lens and 1.4 converter - A.mode etc

      Hi Garry -

      After the cold spell with a frozen canal for days with sullen skies it was pleasing to be out in the sun.
