Red-throated Diver

Taken from the window of my friends camper van on the road to Eshaness Lighthouse on Shetland in 2015. We hadn't seen the bird but an alarm call alerted us to it's presence, only about 10 metres away. A couple of quick shots and we continued on our way, the bird was still on the nest when we drove past on our way back.

Never seen one, as we don't get them around my area.
