Was this photo processed in two halves ?

Processed in one. The main reason for the difference is that the background forested hills were 2-3 miles away and the mountains 30 miles away. No HDR applied.

I like this very much. The vivid and distinct colour difference from foreground to background and the texture in the rocks that can almost be felt - makes a very striking image.Comment
