    Caught on the hop !

    I was caught on the hop, when I looked over a fence, to see this Kingfisher looking at me. I don't know who was more surprised..

    Not the usual angle. But I didn't get any choice.

    OK you didn't get the iconic profile but still a cracking shot - and you wouldn't have had any time to set it up either.
    Colour and detail are superb

        I have enjoyed looking at this several times over the past few days.

        Now I am feeling better after a mystery ailment I am pleased to pass a comment or two.
